2D Gingerbread House (2 Hour Workshop)

CA$35.00

4-12 years old

We will use a variety of recyclables, child friendly cutting tools and decorative supplies to create a 2D Gingerbread House property. Participants will follow a step by step process for assembling the 2D slotted structure. This activity will encourage participants to develop their engineering and design skills as they explore concepts such as structural stability, spatial awareness, measurement, and material properties. Once construction is complete, participants will have the opportunity to personalize and decorate their gingerbread houses using a curated collection of sustainable and repurposed materials. Through this creative building experience, participants will strengthen fine motor skills, exercise critical thinking, and discover how STEM learning can be integrated with art, sustainability, and imaginative play.

120 minutes (2 hours) in length.

Maximum of 4 participants.

All participants or their parent/guardian must read the waiver before attending the workshop. You will be prompted before purchasing. Should you not accept- we will set some time to discuss prior to the class.

$35/pp + HST

Parents are welcome to stay in our waiting area or leave for the duration of the workshop.

My home studio is located in Vaughan, ON. Address and additional details will be provided after checkout.
